The Wedding Lingerie

by Jodi Bella

When Christina gets carried away and blows over three hundred dollars on fancy lingerie for her honeymoon, she knows she’s in for it. Especially since she and her fiancé, Brian, have just recently had a long talk about the need to save money. It doesn’t help matters that, being underwear, she cannot simply return her purchases.

But Brian is nothing if not creative. If they can’t take the lingerie back to the store, he figures they may as well make the best of it. He has just the right plan to do that: a week full of creative discipline that Christina won’t soon forget.

“And, hey. You. Thanks for being the kind of person who likes to pick up a book. That’s a genuinely great thing. I met a librarian recently who said she doesn’t read because books are her job and when she goes home, she just wants to switch off. I think we can agree that that’s as creepy as hell. Thank you for seeking out stories, the kind that take place in your brain.”  From Lexicon by Max Barry

About the Author

Jodi Bella lives in a small suburban town near Philadelphia PA with her very spoiled rescue cat, Shadow. Newly single, she hopes to find a man to be with for the rest of her days, one who is  similar to the heros in her books, who will provide lots of inspiration for future stories.

A self-professed book junkie, Jodi reads from all genres at a rapid rate. It was during her elementary school years that she first started writing her own stories– and even a few of those contained spanking elements. Later, as an adult using the Internet, she found an audience for her work and has continued to write ever since then.

In her free time, besides reading, you can find Jodi at many concerts, baking cookies in her kitchen, browsing antique or craft fairs, or snuggling on the sofa with Shadow watching tv or a movie.
