5.0 out of 5 stars I’M SO GLAD YOU WON THE RAFFLE AND GOT THIS HOUSE, May 16, 2016
This review is from: The Real Prize (Kindle Edition)
TheRealPrize_150x225I enjoyed this sweet romance story. Sarah Stellings was trying to decide what she wanted to do with her life, and while at the ocean bought a raffle ticket to help out a good cause. What a shock to get a call from an attorney telling her she won the house. She gave notice at her teaching job, put the house she was living in up for sale and made a call to movers. Her new house comes with some great neighbors, especially a friendship with Heath. Sarah has a lackadaisical attitude about safety and using common sense, and it is driving Heath crazy. He talks to her repeatedly, and she always agrees with what he is saying but doesn’t change her ways. When her carelessness causes her life to be threatened, it is the straw that breaks the camel’s back, and Heath decides that physical consequences are the only way for her to take it series.

The plot of the story focuses mainly on two people who are becoming serious about each other and in the process; Heath is very concerned about safety issues that Sarah ignores. Talking doesn’t seem to make a difference, and he spanks her. There are four main people in the story, and their conversations are open and honest about domestic discipline. There are no sex scenes, only implied.

This review is from: To Master and Defend (The Dungeon Fantasy Club Book 2) (Kindle Edition)
ToMasterAndDefend_500x755This is a great story!! Totally loved it, might say it is my favorite!! Ophelia is out for a night of sex, when an unwelcome advance comes her way and she is saved by her knight in shining armor. After the night to beat all nights, Ophelia ends up pregnant and after sneaking out of her lover’s loft, she doesn’t even know his name. What is a girl to do? Run off to bring her sister back from Scotland. However, when she gets to Scotland she is in for a surprise when she finds out her sister is getting married and one of her future brother-in-law’s good friend is none other then her knight.
Ophelia has lived in a sheltered way emotionally since the death of her parents, she feels their deaths were her fault. So she has developed the habit of shutting down her emotions, instead of living. So, Tobias (her knight), ends up trying to break down her emotional walls. However, after a rough night she throws him out, which destroys him. Can Ophelia break down the walls around her heart and allow the man in? Or will she live in solitude and be a single mom, denying the feelings she has?
This is a great story about submission and acceptance and allowing yourself to feel. Tobias and Ophelia have amazing chemistry from the moment they meet. Their struggle is heartbreaking, they seem to almost throw away the best thing that ever happened to either of them. Can they see past the pain?
Really enjoyed the story, definitely recommend this series.

This review is from: Being Lady Clara (Kindle Edition)
BeingLadyClara_150x225When Becky Wilson is asked to take part in a ruse to disguise herself as Lady Clara for the season, she agrees, simply because it will help her family. She never thought she would meet Lord Victor and begin to fall in love. Nor did she think he would see right through Thomas and Clara’s ruse. Lady Clara is a rather forward thinking lady for her day and age and detests the idea of attending the London season and having to attend party after party. She looks so much like Becky that she gets her to pretend to be her. Becky was raised on a farm and has never been to a party. She does clean up well though and the only person she doesn’t manage to trick is Lord Victor. He however sees right through the ruse and punished Becky for her part in it. He also becomes quite captivated with Becky. This was a truly original plot for this Victorian novel. It was very interesting to follow. I really enjoyed this book.
5.0 out of 5 starsTension and excitement!, May 18, 2016
This review is from: Southern Comfort (Kindle Edition)
Screenshot 2016-05-18 09.19.02I adore how Beth Bennett manages to bring American history to life. This interesting tale is set during the American Civil War and the use of the underground slave route organised by some very brave people, lends the story tension and excitement. As usual Ms. Bennett gives us a feisty, uppity heroine who needs some taming from the hero Brice so the tale is peppered with a few light spankings.

This review is from: His Sweet Amber (The Red Petticoat Saloon) (Kindle Edition)
His sweet amber 200x300Callie has had a great loss and is trying to figure out what to do next. But then circumstances seem to be making the Decisions for her. Lawrence has also suffered great loss and had closed himself off. But something about Cassie calls out to him and he is ready to make some changes.

Callie is a woman brave enough to do what needs to be done to survive. She is smart and practical and has a pretty good idea about what she will need to do to get on with her life. She also doesn’t want to cause Lawrence any harm because she is bright enough to realize at some point he will decide he doesn’t want to keep himself closed off.

Lawrence is impulsive at first in asking for Callie’s hand but you also seem him thinking things through. I also love how he puts Callie’s feelings first.

There is some spanking and if but most of it is in fun and you can understand the reasons behind the real punishment. I think this couple has lots of love and happiness in their future.

This review is from: Summer Lover (Kindle Edition)
SummerLover_150x225Haley has loved Ethan for years but he only realised his feelings when forced to take a break at the lake after an absence of 5 years. This is a very warm emotional story tightly woven around Ethan & Haley. The connection between them which started when they were teenagers has endured and they find a way to be together.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hot Island Adventure, May 21, 2016
This review is from: DeMarco’s Captive (Island Getaway Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
150x225Lucy Harrison is a special agent who through a career misstep finds herself marooned on the private island that contains the estate of Sebastian Demarco, the strong and domineering ruler of his tropical nation. Necessity thus leads Lucy to assume a new identity, that of “Lucky Harris”. Lucky manages to win over Sebastian’s grandmother and she is invited to stay at the estate as Lady Nora’s companion, and thus the fun begins. The spankings and erotic sex sparked by hot island lust and a need for dominance make for quite a sexy read. As icing on the cake, add to that an interesting plot line fraught with adventure, action, and unexpected twists and turns. This is definitely a book that will get your juices flowing while keeping you in suspense till the very end.
