Two sisters, one married, one single. Different as night and day – or are they?
Lucy: the single career girl who never seems to like any of the men her sister or her boss’s wife try to fix her up with. Why? Lucy is living a lie. There is a secret desire that lies deep within her, one that only one sort of man can fill. When Matthew Moore, her company’s new client and the biggest account they have ever had, walks into the room, she knows she’s met the man of her dreams. The problem is that Lucy has a strict personal rule about mixing business with pleasure. When he asks her out, she discovers Matt won’t take no for an answer and she relents – with conditions. She’ll soon face the biggest decision of her life when, at the end of their conditional period, she must choose the type of lifestyle she wants with him.
Janie: the older, married sister. She and her husband, Brad, run a horse ranch together. They have two beautiful daughters, and a stable and happy life. Lately, though, Janie is feeling as if they are in a rut. She has been researching BDSM online. When her sister, Lucy, confides in her that she and her new boyfriend Matt are dabbling in the lifestyle, Janie decides it’s time to let Brad know about her feelings. What follows is anger, disappointment, pain, pleasure, and a strong and loving bond as the couple find their way into their new way of life. It is not a smooth transition for either of them. Will they finally find a way to compromise and make it work for them both?

In Ranch Life is Great, you met Cade Collins and Elsie Wintock, who were engaged to be married. Elsie was living in the small town of Sherman, Wyoming, with her parents and her Aunt Gertrude. When her parents were tragically killed, Cade suggested they move their wedding date up. She agreed and he moved both ladies onto his ranch, where he raises top quality horses. Then they set about helping Sheriff Daniel Fitch find the person or persons who killed her parents – and why.
In Mail Order Surprise, you met Austin Barrington, who owned a ranch outside of Laramie, Wyoming, and Georgia Langly, who traveled to Laramie from Boston to become Austin’s mail order bride. They were neither one quite what the other expected, but after a rough start to their marriage, they stopped trying to hide who they really were and realized they were perfect for each other.
When a man on their ranch was shot, they got him back to their house to nurse him back to health. Sheriff Grant Montgomery got word of where the man who shot him might be, and Georgia and Austin both joined his posse to bring the culprit in.
Now, in Ranch Life Surprise, Cade and Elsie are summoned to Laramie by a lawyer. They’re told they have inherited some horses, which have already been shipped to Laramie. The lawyer finds a local rancher, Austin Barrington, who is willing to keep the horses for them until they can claim them. Cade and Elsie go to Austin and Georgia’s ranch, where the four of them develop an instant friendship.
The men, who respect each other and the equestrian work they do, begin trading horses, which involves the couples making the occasional four-hour trip between their ranches. When bad things start happening during the trips, and later on both ranches, Sheriffs Montgomery and Fitch again get involved. The men still have their hands full with their headstrong ladies, and don’t hesitate to take their wives over their knees when they feel the need.

Cade needs to protect her, and he can do that best by bringing her to his ranch, so they move their wedding day up. Feisty, independent Elsie has never been on a ranch before. She doesn’t know how dangerous it could be and often ignores Cade’s warning. The one thing she and Cade have in their favor is their love.

Mail Order Surprise
By Misty Malone

Austin Barrington is nervous-but hopeful-when his mail order bride, Georgia Langley, steps off the train. From the few letters they’ve exchanged, it seems they have a lot of the same ideals and goals. He is concerned that an educated young lady from Boston might be scared, bored-or both-living on a ranch in Wyoming, but he hopes she will be able to adjust and that they will make a good couple. In time, he plans to teach her to ride a horse and shoot a gun, but for now, he will keep a close eye on her to keep her safe.

It soon becomes clear that what he expected from his new bride and what he has received are two very different things. Within just three days of her arrival, Georgia leaves the ranch on her own and goes looking for employment-after finding out that husbands in Laramie in 1890 commonly correct their wives’ bad behavior with a trip over their knee.

Austin and Georgia may have different views on the concept of domestic discipline, but they are a good match in many other ways. Follow their story in this action-packed adventure, as they find themselves in the center of a mysterious and dangerous situation.
