Before we get to tonight’s new release, we wanted to give you an update on Blushing Books & Bethany’s Woodshed.

As of this evening, Blushing Books isback online.  If you’re a regular customer one of the first things you’ll probably notice is that it’s not exactly up to date.  This is a version from about 8-9 months ago (so you won’t see any recent releases on the site).  Also, for the time being, the ability to place orders has been switched off.  This is one of the first steps in bringing the store back to 100%.  Once we’ve had a chance to test everything our technician will begin the process tomorrow afternoon of importing the most recent version of the database back into the site and we will (hopefully, fingers crossed) be back up and running by tomorrow (Thursday) evening.  Of course, nothing is guaranteed but he’s done a remarkable job so far so we’re very hopeful and optimistic.

About Bethany’s Woodshed – Bethany’s came back online this afternoon as well.  But, like Blushing Books, there are still some issues that need to be worked out.  Some (but not all) of our members can log into the site.  Again, this is something we hope to have resolved sometime tomorrow.

While we’re working on this on this end, you can go to the Blushing Books blog at thisaddress.  We’ll be posting updates there as they become available.

Again, we want to thank everyone for being so patient and understanding over the past week.  It’s been very stressful for all of us here (& many of you as well!), but we think we can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel.  We should know more by tomorrow night.

New this Evening…
The Naughty Schoolmarm by Laurel Joseph

Redheaded spitfire Nettie never thought she would be the new schoolmarm in a small town, but here she was, doing just that, and hoping that her Papa and ten older brothers wouldn’t find her! Even though Nettie didn’t expect to find herself teaching school, she was, and she was going to do the best job she could do. One little boy was not doing well at all and she decided a trip to speak to his parents was in order.

Nettie’s first view of Tanner Greene’s ranch was one of pleasant surprise. It was neat as could be; a fresh coat of paint making the buildings sparkle in the sunlight. She quickly spotted a man that she assumed was Scotty’s father; he was in the corral, attempting to place a saddle on a skittish stallion. There was also an Indian brave sneaking up on him, knife drawn to attack. Without hesitation, Nettie took her gun from her reticule and shot the Indian.

Tanner Greene was shocked to see the woman standing beside the buggy he recognized as a rental from the stable in town. He picked up his son, and yelled for the woman to come, and it wasn’t until Scotty called her “Teacher” that he realized who she was. It was shocking to realize the new schoolmarm could handle a gun, but she had quite literally saved his life, and he was grateful. But even more shocking was learning why she was there to see him!!!

Nettie wasn’t about to let Tanner Greene tell her what to do! She’dran away from home to escape that. But unlike the men at home, Tanner carries out his promises to spank her, and Nettie thinks that perhaps she’s found the right man she can love and respect!
