When they were outside by her car he pulled her into his arms and pressed his lips to hers. “With everything going on with my grandmother, I missed you, Lydia. You stayed on my mind, you were even in a few of my dreams,” he whispered before kissing her softly.

She closed her eyes, the butterflies in her stomach took flight, she wanted to stay there and get lost in Jaleel’s arms with his soft lips for the rest of the day, she had missed him too.

She allowed his tongue access to her mouth and moaned softly as he pulled her tighter into his embrace, again she thought of calling Helena and telling her she was not coming in for the rest of the day so they could continue to catch up.

Her eyes popped open as her right mind took over shaking loose all those passionate thoughts, knowing how much she had on her schedule for the rest of the day and remembering what she had just found out about him, she stepped out of his arms.

“Something wrong?” he asked, dragging his thumb across her bottom lip before biting it lightly. His eyes sparkled as he looked down at her; he rested his hands on her waist.

“Until you have that situation of yours under control, we can’t do that,” she announced and slid into the driver’s seat of her car.

“Damn, Lydia, you may not know if what you’re feeling is real but I know for damn sure what I’m feeling is. Why are you making this so hard for me?” He smirked raising an eyebrow suggestively before his face spread into that irresistible smile, dimples and all, well damn near irresistible.

“That right there is why, there is no way in hell that damn smile of yours can be real!” Lydia teased and winked at him before backing out of the parking lot.

“Lord, please, please, please let them dimples be real!” she mumbled to herself turning on the A/C in her car, the dimpled smile on his face as he watched her leave was giving her fever!
